The 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to be the 18th edition of this prestigious T20 cricket tournament, running from March 22 to May 25, 2025. Ten teams will compete across 74 matches held in 13 cities.

The tournament will commence with an opening match between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The grand finale is scheduled for May 25, 2025, also at Eden Gardens, marking the third time this iconic venue hosts the IPL final.
